Soul was chieftain for a very short time, but you see, He is even less active than Demo...
Anyways, He used me as an excuse over a matter Demo chooses not to talk about.
Inviting me back into the clan without assigning my name...
I don't see it as a big issue, Which is why I know, Soul just couldn't handle the pressure the new clan system was causing.

I resigned being chieftain because I am not a worthy chief and I saw no reason to be the chief.

Back on topic: So, we really need to make sure either everybody or nobody changes their name and the inactive people (me included) should be kicked out.

There's the problem: I know there are some people in the clan whom I do not wish to lose but will absolutely refuse to change their names (*cough*Lily*cough*). Maybe a new naming convention may be necessary...something like Nes wanted. Keep our names normal and allow people to do a database check...

Well, I was fine with the name thing for awhile. However I realized in my arrogance and my ambition, that I was either going to be in a leadership position or try to make a name on my own such as Relax or Iord.

1. Notes is one of the most legendary mazers ever to exist on Warcraft, how in the hell do you get the impression that he had a bad name?

I'd prefer to not have people change their names (at the cost of having TDoM be less distinctive) rather than having them change (at the cost of driving away potential recruits). I see where the other side comes from, it's just that I think it should be optional.

Well, the main argument for the side of distinction is that you should be proud to be in TDoM, it shouldn't be something where we bend our way to make your life more convenient. When I got into the original TDoM, there was no doubt at all whether or not changing my name was appropriate, it's just how it was. If we make the clan good enough, people will want to be recognized for it...unless they're Lily. She has an inferiority complex of some sort; can't be helped.
