New TDoM Naming System?

I was going to make this a poll, but I want some more open feed-back. What do you guys think of a new TDoM naming system? Personally, I love being able to identify myself as a member of this clan immediately, but I know a lot of people hate having to change their name, and hate even more that some people get the exclusive privilege not to. So, the current idea is to keep whatever names members have had before (assuming they are respectable), but give them the option to change their name to a tag (such as TDoM_NAME or NAME(TDoM)).

All members will be included in the TDoM database accessible via my bot (I may include the database on others' bots as well since I'm not on all of the time). If anyone wishes to check the viability of you being a TDoM member they may whisper the bot saying something like "-member (name)" and the bot will return the username, rank, access, and title of the member. I have already set up a database that can be read but now I must work on writing and replacing members. It shouldn't take long.

Great idea, except I do not see the point of being able to whisper your bot and use the command "-name" if people will have a TDoM tag.

I'd say keep the TDoM in the name.

That goes without say. It's the ranks and such that confuse/piss people off.

I agree with cip LOL just make them change there name to TDoM- _(name) its just a force of goodness

Ciph, no quoting Bohemian Rhapsody...

I like the current system but people are fags, so stick with TDoM_ (it allows the most letters afterwards)

If you remove the P, G, etc then you have room for other things. Then we could use the bot to identify your clan ranking.

The main point was whether or not we should do it at all, I had already figured we'd get rid of the ranks. I think a lot of people would have issues with me letting in people like Lily without them having to change their name, and we certainly know Lily won't change her name...damn non-conformists.
