Two problems here, Greg:

1. Notes is one of the most legendary mazers ever to exist on Warcraft, how in the hell do you get the impression that he had a bad name?

2. You use that afro dude way too much and in kind of inappropriate situations. Don't make me replace it with a picture of Hitler.

I'd prefer to not have people change their names (at the cost of having TDoM be less distinctive) rather than having them change (at the cost of driving away potential recruits). I see where the other side comes from, it's just that I think it should be optional.

Well, the main argument for the side of distinction is that you should be proud to be in TDoM, it shouldn't be something where we bend our way to make your life more convenient. When I got into the original TDoM, there was no doubt at all whether or not changing my name was appropriate, it's just how it was. If we make the clan good enough, people will want to be recognized for it...unless they're Lily. She has an inferiority complex of some sort; can't be helped.
